A word from me.
Storytelling weaves us together. It increases our empathy and understanding of one another.
It documents our personal transformations and allows us to claim space in a competitive economy.
My instincts trace back to when I was 7 and the words I couldn’t accurately express through conversations, I’d spill onto loose leaf papers.
One by one diaries were filled with imaginative stories and day to day perceptions. Every year I had to buy a new journal to document my story. The tradition still continues today.
In May 2020, this predilection for weaving narratives together led me to publishing my own life story in the form of the anthology, ‘Tell Her She’s Lovely’. The book, which you can learn about here tracks transformative steps I took in my personal and professional life.
The confidence to start a task and see it through inspired me to pursue my first freelance writing task on Upwork. As I helped someone repurpose her past experiences for the next, I realized there had to be a need to help many other professionals with their online positioning and messaging.
Months later as a professional journalist and certified storytelling coach I thrive off of helping other entrepreneurs see the value in their existing life experiences and monetize these stories into online brands. Our stories after all are the building blocks for successful businesses and with the right questions we can unlock them.

“Dhara is a great communicator and ready to lead your project to a successful result. Her curiosity and genuine interest towards my story sparked interesting conversations throughout the contract. From the first phone call, she was on point always asking me the right questions. I have only good things to say about Dhara's approach. Highly recommend for those who have key ideas but unsure how to weave everything together”

I love to travel. Who could forget all the frappé coffees in Greece?
I used to write so many poems from 2017 to 2019. This year I took a break to publish the book.
